Fahriye Evcen Özçivit, born on June 4, 1986, in Solingen, Germany, is a prominent Turkish actress and model. She is best known for her roles in popular television series and films, establishing herself as a significant figure in the Turkish entertainment industry.

Evcen was born to a family of diverse heritage; her mother is of Circassian descent, and her father is a Turkish immigrant from Kavala, Greece. During her childhood in Germany, she faced challenges, especially during periods of social unrest. She initially pursued sociology at Düsseldorf Heinrich-Heine University. However, during a vacation in Turkey, she appeared as an audience member on Oya Aydoğan's television program, where Aydoğan introduced her to producer İbrahim Mertoğlu. This opportunity led her to pause her studies and relocate to Istanbul with her mother to embark on an acting career.

Evcen's acting debut came with the TV series "Asla Unutma" in 2005. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Necla Tekin in the acclaimed series "Yaprak Dökümü," an adaptation of Reşat Nuri Güntekin's novel. Following this success, she starred in the film "Cennet" in 2008, sharing the lead role with Engin Altan Düzyatan. The same year, she appeared in "Aşk Tutulması" alongside Tolgahan Sayışman. 

In 2013, Evcen took on the role of Feride in the TV series "Çalıkuşu," another adaptation of a Reşat Nuri Güntekin novel, where she starred opposite Burak Özçivit. Their on-screen chemistry translated into real life, and the couple married in 2017. They have two sons, Karan and Kerem.
